Black and white monochrome is simple, classic and an easy look to pull off in any bathroom. With the latest tap ware, tiles and finishes available due to the rising popularity of the look, we have decided to collect our favourite images and inspire your next bathroom renovation.
If you aren’t building or remodelling, you can easily update your bathroom with accessories. Fresh towels, greenery, prints and candles are all affordable updates that can make a big difference. Think of your bathroom not only in a practical way, but as a sanctuary that you can escape to and unwind, or get yourself prepared for the day ahead.
We love the sleek and sophisticated look of this vanity. By adding a simple black frame to the mirror it
really finishes the look off. Using a black tray can also keep your items on top of the vanity together and
organised for a polished but usable look.
A simple black and white vanity that is floating gives the illusion of space in this ensuite.
Notice that they have also selected to use black tap ware and door handles, the attention to detail is also
apparent in the fitting and cord of the pendant light- we adore this room!
We aren’t sure where to start with this room- it is exquisite! That steel-framed shower stall is everything and
don’t even get us started on the stone vanity- wow.
Taking the trend one step further, graphic tiles are a great way to really make a statement in your bathroom. If you have the confidence, go all out and have fun with your floor tiles, otherwise, stick to a smaller area such as your splash back to experiment with. We are loving these steel-frame shower stalls, they are on our dream bathroom list for sure.
Another way to incorporate black and white into your bathroom might be in selecting your grout colour.
A darker grout can really make subway tiles stand out and make a statement, it can also mean that you don’t have to worry about white grout discolouring over time.
Adding some texture like in the image above with a basket and some greenery looks gorgeous too.
A great way to soften the look is by mixing it in with natural surfaces and materials, such as wood and leather,
as pictured above. The vase of greenery also adds some extra depth and we are loving the gold wall sconce.
